Brad Philpot, born in the United States in 1976, found his way to the Netherlands in 1997. He graduated with a Master’s in English Language and Literature from the University of Amsterdam and began teaching in 2000.
Today he runs Teaching Heads, a consultancy group for international education in the Netherlands. For 2 days a week, he teaches English Language and Literature for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme at the Amsterdam International Community School.
He offers student workshops, teacher training and consultancy. He has written a textbook titled English Language and Literature for the IB Diploma, available from Cambridge University Press. Currently he is working on a website that provides teachers and students with a lot of resources for the IB English Language and Literature course.
